Terms of use
Effective 8 September 2026. Provider: Cactus Protocol, Sweden, contact: support@cactusprotocol.com.
1. What Pinvia is
Pinvia is an Android app that reads a location out of an Apple Maps link or pin and hands it to a navigation app installed on your device. The app does not navigate, and it provides no maps or road data of its own.
2. Using the app
You get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not resell it, decompile it in order to bypass payment, or use it for anything unlawful.
You need an Android device, an internet connection for some links, and at least one navigation app. Their availability and behaviour are outside our control.
3. Free use and full access
Free of charge you may open two new locations in each calendar month. A location you have opened stays available until the end of that month, and reopening it does not reduce the limit. Copying the coordinates counts the same as opening a navigation app.
Full access removes the limit. A single payment of 5 USDC, made from your own Solana wallet, unlocks 30 days. Nothing renews automatically; when the period ends you return to the free tier unless you pay again. The network fee is paid separately in SOL and does not go to us.
Full access is recorded on the device and is not tied to your wallet. Changing devices or clearing the app's data means losing it.
4. Refunds
Solana payments are irreversible by the nature of the technology — once the network confirms a transaction it cannot be undone, and we have no means to undo it. If you paid and access was not granted because of a fault on our side, write to us with the transaction signature and we will look at it individually.
5. Road safety
Pinvia passes coordinates along. It does not verify that they lead where you intended, or that the route there is passable and safe. Checking the route and driving lawfully are your responsibility. Do not operate your phone while driving.
6. Accuracy
Coordinates come from the link you received and from third-party services that resolve shortened links and turn addresses into points. We do not guarantee their correctness, nor that the resulting point matches the real place. Apple Maps link formats can change without notice and may temporarily prevent some links from being read.
7. Third-party apps and services
Navigation apps, Solana wallets, the dApp Store and node providers belong to third parties and are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their operation, availability or content.
Pinvia is not affiliated with Apple, Google, Waze, Yanosik, Garmin or any other map or navigation provider. Those names indicate compatibility only and belong to their respective owners.
8. No warranty
The app is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will run uninterrupted or error-free. None of this limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect loss, including lost profit. These limits do not apply to intentional harm or to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for instance when the app changes. The revised version will appear on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it; if you disagree, stop using the app.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Sweden. Disputes are heard by the court competent for Stockholm, while a consumer keeps the right to bring a claim before the court of their country of residence.
12. Language
This English version is binding. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy the English text prevails.
